The name belies the delectability of this lip-smacking recipe which is always a foodies favorite. To make it more tasty, add more hot sauce.

Cooking time - 15 mins.

 

 

Ingredients:

  • Eggs - 6.
  • Celery - 1/2 stalk, finely chopped.
  • Onion - 1/4, finely chopped.
  • Mayonnaise - 1/4 cup.
  • Hot pepper sauce - 1 dash.
  • Paprika (for garnish).
  • Salt (for taste).

Preparation:
1) In a medium-sized saucepan, place the eggs and cover with cold water. Boil water and immediately remove from heat. Cover and let eggs stand in hot water for 10 to 12 minutes. Remove from hot water, cool and peel.

2) Cut eggs in half. Remove yolks and place in a medium bowl. Squash together with celery, onion, mayonnaise, salt and hot pepper sauce.

3) Stuff the white egg halves with the egg yolk mixture. Sprinkle eggs with paprika. Cover and chill in the refrigerator until serving time.

Yield: 12 deviled eggs.
