Easy Ideas for Halloween “Booing” or "Ghosting"
Do you know how to boo? You can use this fun Halloween activity to get friends and neighbors in the Halloween spirit and start a new tradition. Here are some ideas to guide you through your booing adventure.
1. Help kids fill a decorative Halloween boo bag or basket with an assortment of Halloween candy and Halloween toys.
2. Write a fun, short Halloween poem to put in the bag and include directions to let your friends know how to spread the “boo’ing” fun.
3. Also include an “I’ve Been Boo’d” sign for your friend to show that they’ve been boo’d. Roll up the paper and add it to the boo bag. Some people use a ghost or other decoration to designate the boo.
4. Now place the bag or basket on your neighbor’s doorstep. Ring the doorbell and wait for them to discover their surprise. Kids love to get in on this and it's even more fun when they choose which neighbors to boo.
5. Now it’s your neighbor’s turn to continue the boo’ing and place another boo bag on two other friends’ doorsteps. If people participate, by Halloween you'll see boo's lining up and down the street on all the doors in the neighborhood!
6. You can also incorporate this fun tradition in your workplace. Just leave the boo’s on coworkers’ desks!
